This is an example of a tutorial (lesson) that I authored for delivery through a LMS (Blackboard, Moodle, etc.). It shows the typical pieces of an online lesson, including learning objectives for each section and various types of activities to help keep the learner engaged and to assess learning.
Because this was intended for use in an LMS, there are a couple of LMS-specific references. In the actual full lesson, the learner was provided other documents (referred to in the lesson as Appendix 1, Appendix 2, etc.). There was also a final assessment that the learner needed to complete after finishing with this lesson. Some of the activities are Flash-based and won't render properly on some mobile devices. When I update this lesson, these activities will be changed to rely on HTML5, so that they aren't as device-dependent.
I've widened the content area of these pages so that the lesson appears more similar in size as it was originally designed.
